Bold move with MercadoLibre, but if you don’t fully understand the market dynamics or lack conviction, it’s probably best to exit during the good times rather than the bad. Can’t argue with adding to Visa, though - I did the same.
It's more a strategic move than anything. I think a just as rational move is to sit back and let the thesis play out, but I want to stay true to my strategy: A combination of slow-and-steady large cap companies and more "risky" nordic small cap companies who play different roles in a concentrated portfolio. MercadoLibre is to big and fast growing in a to rapidly changing sector for what I want to do with my port, but I am also rather convinced that it will deliver outstanding returns going forward.
