Great write-up! I've been hooked on EU3 and EU4 for years and definitely they have no competition when in comes to grand strategies of this type.
I would love to own them and I'm considering opening a position, but what has kept me away for now is very high withholding tax on dividends.
I'm based in Poland and effectively would need to pay 30% in Sweden and then 4% in Poland which is really hard for me to swallow.
Appreciate the feedback! Yea Paradox is very much a quality gaming company, but the withholding tax does drag down returns (especially as the company can’t buy back shares in times of low valuation).
